Air Show Operations Primer

ASOP Training

Exciting new add on training day Friday January 31st!

This new collaborative effort between NECAS and ICAS is a condensed version of the two perennially popular introductory workshops offered at the ICAS Convention each year: Air Shows 101 Air/Ground Operations Training Workshop and Air Shows 102 Business Basics Workshop.

Offered during an information-packed full day on Friday, January 31 (requiring a Thursday night arrival for some NECAS Conference attendees), this new program has been developed specifically for this year’s 2025 NECAS Conference. It is tailored to the information and training needs of new staff members and volunteers who require a deeper and comprehensive understanding of the complexities air shows and how they are planned and executed.

Why Register Members of Your Team for the New Air Show Operations Primer?

Getting up to speed on the regulations, rules, requirements, and recommendations related to putting on an air show can be intimidating. And for the more experienced people on your staff charged with helping to train new staff and volunteers, the orientation of newbies can be time-consuming and distracting.

Using time-tested components from two successful ICAS training workshops, Air Show Operations Primer has been developed to provide a comprehensive introduction and eliminate the necessary, but sometimes inefficient learning curve required to bring new personnel on board.
